POMBE

“Pombe” meaning “Alcohol” in Swahili, is Panthera’s brand of activated carbons made exclusively for the food and beverage industry and more specifically for alcohol distillation processes.

Pombe is a medium activity coconut shell granulated activated carbon with enhanced microporosity, making it ideal for adsorption of low molecular weight compounds and their chlorinated by-products.  It has proven to be superior at removing impurities and odors during alcohol production, creating a smoother and more refined product.
