“Ganda” meaning “Shell” in Swahili, is Panthera’s brand of activated carbons made from high-quality African Macadamia Nut shells.

 

Our Ganda product is a medium activity granulated activated carbon, a bimodal pore structure that makes it well-suited for removing low to medium molecular weight organic compounds and their chlorinated by-products.

Typical uses for Ganda products are industrial water treatment, treatment of municipal drinking water, industrial effluent pre-treatment, dichlorination of processed water, and production of soft drinks.

 

Our Ganda products have been especially superior at removing Trihalomethane.
